My name is Rachel Young. I’ve been an active, direct response copywriter for almost 10 years.

But I didn’t have dreams of writing copy or anything to that effect. In fact, I accidentally discovered I could write copy!

In 2003, my family and I were homeless. We’d moved into the 200sq. foot basement of a family friend’s home. We decided it was just as far to go back and get a job as it was to move forward and start our own business.

We lived paycheck to paycheck either way, so why not write our own hours and spend our time the way we wanted???

I received a copy of the Atlanta Foreclosure Report and sent out 100 letters to people who were facing foreclosure. My response was abismal (in my opinion).

I shared my response rate with some investor friends who immediately asked what in the crap I’d done.

I’d written to 100 people. In my mind, 100 people should have responded. I was disappointed with the 30 people who had called me back.

A 30% response rate when everyone else was getting 1-2%? Unheard of!

Fast forward a few years and I:

• Appeared in numerous trade publications and magazines
• Am a regularly appearing author in Financial Intelligence Magazine
• Am a regularly appearing author on bodybuilding.com
• Have written for over 30 industries and niches (including the majority of the GKIC Platinum Inner Circle!)
• Have customers around the world, from Australia to England to the United States to France and beyond!
